#226 new question

Using Triggers with multilabel 90

Reported by: Generic User (don't modify these fields) Owned by: support@sherpa-mc.de

Component: Unknown Version: 1.3.1
Keywords: internal analysis trigger Cc: Wojciech.Kotlarski@fuw.edu.pl

Description

The question concerns internal analysis module of Sherpa. I try to apply a cut, on a hadron level, that stores only events containing an electron or a muon, of either signs, with a p_T > 50.0 GeV. If I were to ask, for example, only for an electron than this can be easily done using Trigger. But it seams that trigger does not accept "multilabel" 90. Using few different triggers and merging them together using MergeLists does not work. It seams that, when there are events containing both and electron and a muon with a p_T > 50 GeV, they are double counted (if not than please correct me). I would like to know what is the correct way of doing what I would like to do. Looking at the source code of Sherpa one sees that Trigger accepts "multilabel" 93. It would be good if it could accept also other ones.

Best Regards, Wojciech Kotlarski
