Energy scaling shows strange behaviour

I'm trying to understand the discrepancy between the UE at Tevatron and the LHC. Playing with prof-I (the interactive Professor toy^{Hol) I see that the UE at 1960 GeV changes dramatically with the RESCALE_EXPONENT. I hadn't expected that, since 1800 = 1960 (for large 1800 and small 1960). This affects both the UE in QCD and in DY events.}

Also the UE at 900 GeV moves in the same direction as the UE at 7 TeV when changing the RESCALE_EXPONENT.

Looks good! Fortunately this doesn't change the tune at 7 TeV, and maybe we can improve on the Tevatron description now.
