Memory leak in MENLOPS and METS

Description

The attached setup produces a memory leak of ~9gb in 8M MENLOPS events and ~500mb in 8M METS events.

The memleak in MENLOPS is removed with r16187. The memleaks in METS/MENLOPS are located in Rivet.
