Description

Hi,

I have tried to do a simple cross check of an LO cross section calculation with Sherpa, and the program crashes. The process is

p p > e+ v_e mu+ mu- P j

(where P is a photon). Status directory and Sherpa output is attached. The same process without the final-state jet or using a massive Z instead of the photon works just fine. (Also the cross section estimates of the first steps look reasonable.)

I could not find any obvious reason why it would have gone wrong.

Hi Michael,

Sorry, I just realised that this report has never been attended to. I'm closing it as wontfix for right now, since it refers to a rather old version of Sherpa. If you are still interested in getting a result for this calculation, please reply and we can try this with a newer version of Sherpa.
