Description
I have produced LO showered events with Sherpa; in order to analyze them I need to have them imported in a Root tree. However, Sherpa can only output direcly to Root for NLO, so I have produced a .hepevt file. Is there any way I can convert this into .root, or any better way to ultimately have the events stored in a .root file without need to add NLO?

you cannot output events from Sherpa in root format at present, except in the special case of parton-level NLO events. Please use one of our other output formats, see http://sherpa.hepforge.org/doc/SHERPA-MC-2.0.beta2.html#Event-output-formats
