#160 closed defect (fixed)

PHASIC::Single_Process::Cluster fails and crashes for W production

Reported by: Frank Krauss Owned by: Frank Siegert
Priority: blocker Milestone:
Component: Unknown Version: 0.trunk
Keywords: Cc: frank.krauss@durham.ac.uk

Description

Simple process W-> mu nu with MCFM and Internal crashes, at the same event, in PHASIC::Single_Process::Cluster. The reason seems to be that the mapping through the Scale_Setter yields no amplitude, then ampls.size() crashes.

You have NLO_Mode=1, i.e. a pure ME level calculation. Is that what you are after (in which case you should disable the shower with SHOWER_GENERATOR=None), or did you want Powheg events (NLO_Mode=2)? Both of these work fine for me, please re-open if there is still something wrong.
