Description
Simple process W-> mu nu with MCFM and Internal crashes, at the same event, in PHASIC::Single_Process::Cluster. The reason seems to be that the mapping through the Scale_Setter yields no amplitude, then ampls.size() crashes.

You have
NLO_Mode=1
, i.e. a pure ME level calculation. Is that what you are after (in which case you should disable the shower withSHOWER_GENERATOR=None
), or did you want Powheg events (NLO_Mode=2
)? Both of these work fine for me, please re-open if there is still something wrong.
