#148 closed defect (fixed)

Check consistency of scale factors

Reported by: Stefan Hoeche Owned by: Stefan Hoeche

Component: Unknown Version: 1.2.3

Description

Kemal recently found the following, we shoudl check this before the release:

For Z+2j I agree with Fernando for the central scale. I also agree with him at the other scales, for all contributions except V and I. The problem is certainly with [Sherpa trunk] and not with [Tanju's sepcial version], because for me the scale variation is almost worse at NLO than at LO! The issue does not arise for gamma+2j... but I ended up varying the scales in a different way for the gamma. For Z I use statements (from the command line):

RENORMALIZATION_SCALE_FACTOR 4; FACTORIZATION_SCALE_FACTOR 4;

in order to increase mu by a factor 2.
